The daily contender did not win, but he certainly left a lasting impression on the audience, the judges, and the hosts.
Laughter filled the It’s Showtime studio on Friday, September 30, and it was all because of Miss Q and A contestant, Vanessa Bolton. During the Beklafmation portion of the queer beauty pegant, he was asked with the serious and timely question: “Ano sa palagay mo ang personal na epekto sa’yo ng pagbaba ng halaga ng piso (Amid the continuous devaluation of peso, what impact did it bring to you, and on your life)?”
Already struggled to win the previous ‘Di Ba Teh? Round, Vanessa did not surprise when she got practically speechless during the entire 30 seconds allotted for her to answer. That said, she nevertheless made the whole studio crazy, with her response.
“I believe, ang epekto sa akin ng pagbaba ng piso (I believe, the devaluing peso’s effect on me…),” he said, beginning his answer with the mandatory first phrase.
He seemed to be taking his time but one could easily see he was groping in the dark for words.
“Hindi ko rin po alam (I also do not know),” he continued.
Both Vice Ganda and Jhong Hilario chuckled and fell to their knees. But what made the entire studio explode in laughter was the one he said next.
“Kaya naman, ang gagawin ko na lamang po ngayon, ay I-congratulate si Iver. And I thank you (That is why the only thing I am going to do now is to congratulate Iver),” he managed to end his speech, laughing at the very words he uttered.
Iver is the current reigning queen.

Bolton failed to win the crown that day, but it looked like, he was already off to becoming a viral sensation on TikTok or YouTube.
“Alam mo, ngayon lang naging madali ang paghuhurado namin ‘dito (You know what, this is the only time that our job as judges, became very easy),” joked guest judge Albie Casiño, who surely had fun while listening to Bolton’s gag-worthy answer.
