The ‘90s action star insisted that he was never supportive of his daughter going sexy, but clarified that he respected her decision.
‘90s action movie star, Jeric Raval, may have made statements before, that he respects his daughter AJ Raval’s decision to do sexy films, but he clarified he was never in favor of it. During the press conference about his upcoming horror film, Pinoy Ghost Tales, Raval set the record straight and insisted that he was not supportive of his daughter’s sexy image.
The action star explained, “From the very beginning kapag tinatanong ako about sa mga projects niya, sinasabi ko naman na hindi ko sinusuportahan ang anak ko sa mga movies na ginagawa niya. In fact umattend pa ako ng parang press preview niyan eh, noong ang mga eksena hindi ko kaya, lumalabas ako.”
He added, “Yun, palagi ko ngang sinasabi, hindi ko siya suportado sa mga ganyang projects. Kaya lang nandoon na siya sa mga edad na ‘yun eh, so desisyon niya ‘yun. So hanggang doon lang ako.”
He also expressed his hope to see his daughter trying to change her career path next year. In fact, he said, his daughter AJ wants to do action movies; her recent one ‘Sitio Diablo’ is an action-sexy film.
Raval was last seen in ABS-CBN’s The Iron Heart. His horror movie, Pinoy Ghost Tales, is set to be released on streaming services very soon.
