Kapamilya celebrity Jerome Ponce answered back a netizen who criticized his inclusion in the upcoming Darryl Yap film, Martyr or Murderer.
In a screenshot shared by Fashion Pulis on Thursday, December 1, Ponce was seen reacting to a netizen who commented, “Ikaw ba yung batang Ninoy? Ang laki [siguro] ng bigay sa talent fee mo. Haha wala na ba, kaya kapit na kay acclang Darryl.”
In retaliation, Ponce advised the netizen to find a job and not waste his life bashing celebrities like him. He reacted, “Hanap ka trabaho..sayang buhay…baka may family kang binubuhay or what..”
Ponce, who played a major role in the martial law film, Katips, is set to portray the role of young Ninoy Aquino in the Maid in Malacanang sequel, Martyr or Murderer.
On August 5, Sachzna Laparan’s mother, Christine Policarpio, proudly shared on Facebook a photo with her daughter and Jerome Ponce after watching MiM.
During that time, Katips was also showing in cinemas, which caused some netizens to react and question Ponce’s actions.
