ABS-CBN executive and Star Magic head Direk Laurenti Dyogi shared his astonishment over the recent landmark production collaboration between former archrivals ABS-CBN and GMA Network.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, January 24, Dyogi said he didn’t imagine this kind of project when he started in the television industry more than 30 years ago. He said the collaboration was a historic moment in Philippine TV since ABS-CBN and GMA Network are known as “bitter rivals.”
“When I started in the broadcast industry more than 3 decades ago, this project wouldn’t have been possible. It is a historical moment to witness the coming together of 3 media companies to produce content for our audience.
“Great things come when we work together indeed:) Thank you to the leaders of GMA, VIU and ABS for making this possible,” the Kapamilya executive wrote.
He also shared his excitement to watch artists from both the Kapamilya and Kapuso networks work together on one project.
“Am very much excited to watch the artists from former rival networks work together for this teleserye,” he added.
