On February 6, new Viva artist Manang Medina affirmed that she wants people to know her for her professionalism.
At the media conference for ‘Lagaslas’, Medina cited how she overcame the challenges of doing her first sexy film by being professional.
She then highlighted the dramatic scenes in ‘Lagaslas’ that would leave a mark on their audience.
Aside from the “sexy” scene, she believed the viewer would remember the “drama” scene because it had been so challenging.
Medina then hinted at her theater roots, citing the difference between portraying a scene on camera and while on stage.
As the newbie stressed, portraying a role in theatre cannot be undone; each scene must be perfected. On-screen, however, you get the director’s assistance to portray your role effectively.
Aside from Medina, Julio Diaz, Rubi Rubi, and Arnold Reyes also star in the Vivamax film ‘Lagaslas’ with VR Reloso.
Lagaslas, directed by Christopher Novabos, streams on February 17 via Vivamax.
