It seemed network war is really on its way to obsolescence.
This comes after ABS-CBN and GMA Network hinted at another collaboration project aside from the Jodi Sta. Maria, Richard Yap, Joshua Garcia,and Gabbi Garcia-starrer Ureak My Heart.
On Thursday, March 9, GMA Network executive Joey Abacan posted a photo of him together with other executives from both the Kapamilya and Kapuso networks.
In the photo, Abacan captioned, “fun and happy meeting with @deo_endrinal @annettegozonvaldez @coryvidanezadc3 @ligoras @joymarcelo115 @direklauren.”
While both networks have yet to issue specific details about the meeting, it will surely excite fans of both networks, just like how they received the news about Unbreak My Heart.
It is also quite notable that the meeting was between the two networks only, unlike Unbreak My Heart, which includes Viu executives. So this next project could be a direct collaboration between ABS-CBN and GMA Network, just like their partnership with Star Cinema movies being shown on GMA Network.
Meanwhile, Unbreak My Heart production is currently in Switzerland. The series is set to air on the GMA Network in 2023.
