Camille Prats recounts her Mom’s “budol” moments when shopping online

On January 17, actress Camille Prats recounted her Mom’s ‘budol’ moments when shopping online.

At the media conference for Uratex Monoblock’s Bawal ang Marupok campaign, Prats said her Mom ordered online products that arrived differently than advertised.

I’m sure most of you can relate to that.

“So you know there we’re times that she bought, something, noong dumating, miniature pala, ang liliit pala.

She pointed out that ordering online items with subpar quality is impractical.

“Siyempre kahit sabihin mo na hindi mura lang naman, kapag pinagsama-sama mo ‘yung mga mura na ‘yun na binili mo, tapos hindi mo naman pala talaga napakinabangan, and it’s still a waste of money at the end of the day.

“And na-experience ko rin ‘yung siyempre ang dami ng nagkalat na produkto sa online shopping, and sometimes you just look at the aesthetics of it, ang ganda nito, mukhang matibay, and then when you get it, talagang hindi mo talaga mapagkakatiwalaan.”

She then noted her realization about purchasing items from trusted brands such as Uratex.

Mura din siya, so kapag sobra na talaga siyang mura, that’s my clue na parang there’s must be something wrong with this that’s why it’s so cheap right.

“So ang learnings ko doon ay, you really have to go to brands that are trusted. They are there for a reason, they have lasted this long, for a reason. Maging praktikal, it pays to be really practical, natitipid mo not only with money but as well as with time, and your sanity.”

Uratex Monoblock’s Bawal ang Marupok campaign emphasizes the brand’s goal and mission to nurture, protect and care for its consumers through durable and practical products.
