At the media conference for his latest GMA Music single ‘Idolo’ on February 23, recording artist JC Regino expressed gratitude to the Kapuso Network for the chance to return to music.
GMA Music has always been Regino’s dream as well as that of his father, April Boy Regino.
He shared, “Ay kung nandito pa po si Daddy, kasi bago po siya mawala at manghina, ano po eh, may plano po kami na makabalik po ako ulit sa music kasi tumigil po ako sa pagkanta dahil bumalik po ako ng America.”
He then thanked GMA Network for trusting him as an artist.
He expressed, “So kung ngayon po nandito po– siguro parehas po kaming masaya kasi unang-unang po salamat sa Diyos dahil ginamit nila ‘yung GMA, sa pamamagitan po ng GMA Music, eh binigyan po nila ako ulit ng pagkakataon, and nagtiwala po sila sa akin na makabalik ako sa musika.”
He also recounted his father’s advice about making music; to give your all 100% whether it’s singing, writing a song, or performing.
As for his latest single, JC Regino’s ‘Idolo’, released under GMA Music, is already available for streaming on all music platforms.
