On January 17, South Korean actor Kim Soo-Hyun highlighted his upcoming drama series for 2023.
At the media event for the Dunkin Donuts Philippines brand ambassador, Soo-Hyun confirmed that fans could look forward to his upcoming drama series.
“This year Soo-Hyun’s preparing for a drama.
“His goal is [really] to have the drama showing this year, and he [really] loves how he gets the strength from you guys. [The] energy from everyone in this Araneta Coliseum.”
As for his previous visit to the Philippines, Soo-Hyun recounted his most memorable experience meeting the fans.
“He’s here on stage to meet you guys and to have eye-to-eye contact as well. And he thinks that the Filipino fans eyes are very ‘bling-bling,’ very shiny.”
He then expressed happiness seeing the fans again but as a brand ambassador of Dunkin Donuts Philippines.
“The last time he came here, for another fan meeting, he had a really good time and expectations. And it’s the same thing, he had a lot of expectations, and it’s freshly January right now, kaya gusto niya na yung power and strength na he receives from you, that he really loves to do today.”
Soo-Hyun chose to partner with Dunkin PH because of the brand’s image, citing how he considers the establishment one of his go-to places growing up.
As for the drama series, Soo-Hyun stars in Queen of Tears with Korean actress Kim Ji Won.
According to reports, the production for Queen of Tears begins filming this March.
