Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo’s film, announced in 2021, will allegedly not be able to take place.
In 2021, GMA Network announced that Richards is working with Alonzo for the film ‘A Moment to Remember.’ It was supposed to be a Philippine adaptation of the 2001 Japanese drama Pure Soul.
However, in a report by BALITA on April 25, the two stars had a “personality clash” on the set of “Start-Up PH” as they taped for the final scenes in their series.
Reportedly, Richards and Alonzo had a misunderstanding that led to them not wanting to work together anymore.
Due to this, there have been no updates on their upcoming film.
Three major film outfits were supposed to be involved in the Philippine adaptation of ‘A Moment to Remember’: Viva Films, GMA Pictures, and APT Entertainment.
Alden Richards is currently working on his film with Julia Montes entitled ‘Five Break-Ups And A Romance’. It will be the actor’s comeback film after 4 years.
His last film was the acclaimed film ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ in 2019 where he starred with Kathryn Bernardo.
On the other hand, Bea Alonzo is rumored to be working with Piolo Pascual as well as Heart Evangelista, and John Lloyd Cruz. The actress will also reunite with Dennis Trillo in a Kapuso project in the upcoming drama series ‘Love Before Sunrise’.
