On May 19, days before Unbreak My Heart’s airing and months after its teaser release, rumors surfaced about another collaboration between the GMA Network and ABS-CBN, with the Filipino adaptation of the Korean drama ‘Penthouse’.
Various entertainment websites reported on the possible collaboration between the Kapuso and Kapamilya camps. They also reported that the planned series would feature an ensemble cast from both ABS-CBN and GMA Network.
As for ‘Unbreak My Heart’, the collaboration between ABS-CBN, GMA Network, and Viu began in December 2022, with the companies coming together to develop the series.
Unbreak My Heart Principal Photography happened in January of 2023, and the cast and crew taped their episodes a month later. The team then flew to Switzerland and Italy to tape their series.
As for its stars, Unbreak My Heart features Jodi Sta Maria, Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, and Richard Yap.
The highly-anticipated series airs May 29 on GMA Telebabad, Pinoy Hits, and I Heart Movies at 9:35 p.m. and 11:25 p.m. on GTV, from Mondays to Thursdays. The series will also be available on GMA Pinoy TV and TFC.
An advanced episode of the series premieres on May 27 at 9 p.m. via GMANetwork.com, iWantTFC, and VIU.
