Indeed, Maja Salvador’s career truly flourished as she was dubbed the “Queen of All Networks” in various TV shows under TV5 and GMA Network.
The actress expressed her reaction to the title during the press conference for GMA’s ‘Open 24/7’ on May 8.
When asked about her thoughts on being called the “Queen of All Networks”, the actress responded, “Ay mabigat po yun masyado.”
Celebrating her 20th year in show business, Maja Salvador loves being challenged by the roles she takes on. She stated, “Alam niyo naman po ako, gusto ko nach-challenge ako. Syempre ang tagal ko na hindi nag-teleserye, ito sitcom siya pero challenging siya for me.”
From notable film roles in ‘Arisaka’ and ‘I’m Drunk, I Love You’ to successful TV shows such as ‘Wildflower’, ‘The Killer Bride’, and ‘The Legal Wife’, Maja Salvador has consistently showcased her acting prowess. Now, she continues to pursue a different path in her acting career.
Maja Salvador, in addition to acting, is also the president and CEO of Crown Artist Management, her own talent-management agency.
“Hindi lang siya basta nagawa ko nang role dati, challenging din ito for me. Ang character ko po dito si Mikaela, isang kikay, maarte na babae, lahat sila magagandahan kay Mikaela pero hindi nila alam kung ano yung ganda o hindi magandang dadalhin ko sa convenience store,” Salvador said of her role in ‘Open 24/7’.
“Dito sa sitcom, forever challenging siya. Mas gugustuhin ko pang magpaiyak kaysa magpatawa,” added Salvador.
Maja Salvador, together with Bossing Vic Sotto and Jose Manalo, stars in GMA’s newest sitcom, “Open 24/7,” which premieres on May 27.
