On June 8, Kapuso star Lianne Valentin thanked the cast of Royal Blood for not making her feel like a newcomer.
At the media conference for the Kapuso series Royal Blood, Valentin attested to the collaborative work environment in their set.Â
“Sobrang happy po ako na I got to this, like team work talaga, and collaborative work talaga with each and everyone. Sobrang happy ko po talaga.Â
“And though first time ko makatrabaho halos lahat, pero hindi ko na-feel ‘yung bago ako or new-comer ako. As in they welcomed me with open arms. Wow kilig.Â
“Talagang very professional each and everyone and naramdaman ko po ‘yung tiwala nila sa akin.”
She then talked about the intense dinner scene in their upcoming murder-mystery series.
“Actually ‘yung dinner table scene na ‘yun, talagang sobrang na-enjoy ko siya na gawin. Noong kinukunan namin ‘yung eksena talagang makikita mo ‘yung different energies. Actually, kapag nandoon ka sa set na ‘yun, mafe-feel mo ‘yung different energies ng bawat character and sobrang magical and amazing niya noong ginagawa namin.”
She also recounted one of the intense scenes with the seasoned actor Tirso Cruz III.
“Working with Tito Pip and everyone here dito sa cast, actually kaunting kwento lang, ‘yung first scene ko with Tito Pip na ginawa, inaaway ko siya tapos dadambahan ko siyang ganon. Tapos like noong papunta na kami doon sa set, nanginginig na ako like literally, kasi parang hindi ko ata kayang dambahan si Tito Pip na parang, ‘Tito Pip, I’m sorry.'”
She also noted how the seasoned actor assured her while taping the scene.
“Ganon na nga, pero like, may assurance from Tito Pip na parang just do what ever you feel kung anong makakaganda sa eksena and sasabayan kita. Sasaluhin kita. And doon ko na-feel ‘yung safety, and ‘yung ginawa namin ‘yung eksena na ‘yun, nagulat lang ako na I committed and jumped doon sa scene and nagulat ako doon sa moment to moment na nafe-feel ko working with Tito Pip with that scene.”
Valentin was previously part of GMA’s Mulawin vs. Ravena (2017), Kambal Karibal (2017), and Ang Dalawang Ikaw (2021). Her breakout role is for the GMA Afternoon Prime teleserye Apoy sa Langit.
Royal Blood stars Dingdong Dantes with Megan Young, Dion Ignacio, Mikael Daez, Valentin, Rhian Ramos, Rabiya Mateo, Benjie Paras, Arthur Solinap, Cruz, Andrew Schimmer, John Feir, Carmen Soriano, James Graham, Princess Aliyah, Aidan Veneracion, and Sienna Stevens.
The Kapuso murder-mystery series, under the direction of Dominic Zapata, airs on June 19 via GMA Network primetime.
