“The Iron Heart,” ABS-CBN’s hit primetime action drama, continues to captivate viewers with its gripping plot twists and captivating shots in Italy as its live concurrent viewership soars high with over 12.8 million views in May and reaching its all time high peak viewership of 304,303 viewers last June 2.
As the first season comes to a close, a grand revelation unfolds with Apollo (Richard Gutierrez) revealed to be the son of Tatsulok leader Priam (Albert Martinez). This revelation complicates Apollo’s mission, as he finds himself pitted against his own father in his quest to stop the spread of the virus.
Meanwhile, will romance finally start to bud as Venus (Sue Ramirez), overwhelmed with concern for Apollo, unexpectedly confesses her feelings, leaving Apollo stunned.
Set in their new location in Iloilo City, the second season promises to deliver more action, grit and excitement as they welcome new characters like JM de Guzman to join the battle between Apollo 5 and Tatsulok.
In addition, viewers can look forward to more high caliber action scenes filmed in Italy from Apollo (Richard Gutierrez), Eros (Jake Cuenca) and Ian Veneracion (Menandro).
