One of ‘It’s Showtime’ hosts Amy Perez-Castillo, also known as ‘Tyang Amy,’ revealed that she is happy amid the competition among the noontime shows at present.
In an interview on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ aired on July 17, Perez and Abunda discussed the rivalry among ‘It’s Showtime,’ ‘Eat Bulaga!’ and ‘E.A.T.’
Abunda asked about her perspective on the competition.
Perez gave a straightforward answer.
“Very happy because it’s healthy, ‘yong industriya natin sa telebisyon is back.”
According to her, it is because of that competition that many people have been given job opportunities and it has been beneficial to everyone.
“Di ba lahat may trabaho, mapa-harap ng camera, likod ng camera, utility, lahat may trabaho and it’s good for everybody.”
In the end, Perez added a witty remark regarding her work on ‘It’s Showtime.’
“Nakakabata ang Showtime.”
‘It’s Showtime’ can be watched from Monday to Saturday on Kapamilya Channel, Jeepney TV, A2Z, and GMA Network’s GTV.
