Julia Barretto is back on the big screen with her upcoming movie alongside Aga Muhlach. In addition, her film ‘Will You Be My Ex?’ which also stars Bea Binene and Diego Loyzaga premiered last June 21.
The actress announced that she is officially back after taking a year-long break from acting.
During the press conference for ‘Will You Be My Ex?’ on June 11, Barretto revealed, “I had a one-year break – so ito yung isa sa mga pelikula na pinitch sakin na without even reading the script more or less gagawin ko siya.”
Although it was her first time working with Binene, the actress shared that it was easy for her to collaborate with the former Kapuso actress.
Barretto also expressed her pride in the recent project, saying, “I’m just really grateful that I’m given a project, and that stories that are being given to me are projects that I also value and find meaningful.”
At the premiere night of ‘Will You Be My Ex?,’ Barretto looked stunning in a gorgeous nude dress.
Meanwhile, her upcoming movie with Aga Muhlach titled ‘Forgetting Canseco’ is a romance drama set in Baguio and will be directed by Denise O’ Hara.
