On July 12, Viva artist Aerol Carmelo highlighted the regrets of having unhealthy vices.

At the media conference for ‘Bisyo,’ Carmelo cited smoking and playing video games for long hours as his vices in the past.

“Yosiboy din ako dati. ‘Yun din ang aking bisyo, more on smoking talaga.

He acknowledged that these vices were affecting his health at the time.

He then weighed in on regretting his unhealthy vices, particularly the financial burden and health problems these habits caused.

“Ayun, ‘yung masasabi ko naman sa mga taong na-experience ‘yung ganon, ayun lang there would come a time din kasi magkakaroon tayo ng regret kung bakit natin sinayang ‘yung panahon na ‘yun, bakit natin sinayang ‘yung mga pera na ginastos natin para sa masamang bisyo.

“Ayun lang, hopefully, dumating as early as possible kasi ano siya eh, wala talaga siyang magandang naidulot, ‘yung pag-computer ko before, ‘yun din ‘yung pagyosi ko, eh asthmatic pa ako.”

He also confessed that he was in denial about the impact of his vices.

Pero, it started talaga na parang just because it looked cool.

Carmelo then recounted how he changed his unhealthy habits when he entered showbiz.

I have to leave it all behind, ayun po ‘yung dedication ko sa work.”

‘Bisyo’ stars Gold Aceron, Ataska, Carmelo, Angelica Hart, and Mark Anthony Fernandez.

Under the direction of Daniel R. Palacio, ‘Bisyo’ streams on Vivamax starting July 21.
