On September 10, “ASAP Natin ‘To,” the Philippines’ longest-running and internationally celebrated musical variety show, etched its name in history as it captivated a packed audience at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, Milan.

This feat indicates that “ASAP Natin ‘To’” remains the top global Filipino touring concert worldwide, consistently drawing audiences in the thousands.

The gathering of Filipino communities from all corners of Europe in Milan stands as a testament to the ongoing relevance and enduring appeal of ABS-CBN and TFC in connecting with a diverse and devoted audience.

For Filipinos residing throughout Europe, ASAP in Milan transcended the typical concert experience. It served as a heartwarming reunion for dedicated fans, who had traveled from Germany, Norway, Austria, France, Switzerland, Malta, Spain, the UK, and various parts of Italy, to enjoy the exceptional talents of their favorite artists from their homeland.

What made this experience even more extraordinary was the rare opportunity to see their beloved Kapamilya stars up close, almost within arm’s reach. It was a celebration of Filipino representation on the global stage, and the atmosphere was electric with excitement and pride.

“ASAP Natin ‘To” now proudly holds the distinction of being the only Filipino entertainment ensemble to achieve two monumental full house concerts in Italy: Rome in 2019 at the Palazzo Dello Sport and Milan this year.

The event, spanning over three hours, was not just a display of stunning screen visuals and mesmerizing dance choreography; it was a meticulously curated showcase of both timeless classics and contemporary hits, delivered flawlessly by a world-class ensemble.

ASAP in Milan was a powerful testament to the unity of the global Kapamilya community, highlighting the profound impact of music and entertainment in transcending geographical boundaries.

Arnie Garcia, ABS-CBN’s Head for Global Events and Experience and Managing Director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa, expressed his enthusiasm, stating,

“ASAP in Milan continues to bring the magic of Filipino entertainment to the world stage, and we are overwhelmed by the incredible response from our avid supporters. The success of this show reaffirms the global appeal of Filipino talent and the dedication of Kapamilya fans all over the world.”

Here are a series of photos that colorfully tell this triumphant story of Filipino representation on the world music stage.

ASAP icons Erik Santos, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Angeline Quinto belt out to Aegis’ “Ang Buhay Ko.”

Janella Salvador and Kim Chiu go down to the floor and teach the audience to dance “Haypa” with them.

Erik Santos sings “Pagbigyang Muli” (top photo), while Martin Nievera invites an audience member to sing “Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin” (bottom photo) during the ASAP Karaoke segment.

Coco Martin is joined by Bassilyo and Smugglaz of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo in a rousing VST and Company song and dance medley.

FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’s main stars, Coco Martin (Tanggol) and Lovi Poe (Mokang) make the crowd go wild as they sing “Dahil Mahal Kita.”

ASAP artists model designs created by Milan-based Filipino fashion designers: Chona Bacaoco, Jocelyn Gacad, Kim Carandang, Lionel Christian Lanuzo, and Dubai-based Michael Cinco.

Filipino rock legend, Bamboo (center) is joined by heartthrobs (L-R) Donny Pangilinan, Paulo Avelino, Piolo Pascual, and Joshua Garcia.

The Mediolanum Forum was packed with the community coming from various countries in Europe to witness showstopping performances from Filipino artists – a true demonstration of representation on a global stage.

Grateful for the support of ASAP family friends (L-R) Sis. Mildred Lapuz, Church Administrator of Jesus Is Lord (JIL) Stadera1; Pastor Sherwin Lapuz, JIL Southern and Eastern Europe Evangelism and Church Planting Team Head; Pastor Arturo Alcantara, Regional Pastor JILSEE Northwest Italy; Sis. Maria Luisa Alcantara, Northwest Italy Regional Administrator, shown here with ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak and ABS-CBN Chairman Mark L. Lopez.

Grazie, Milan! The ASAP cast and crew are joined by ABS-CBN executives: Chairman Mark L. Lopez, CEO Carlo Katigbak, and COO of Broadcast Cory Vidanes for the obligatory group shot after a successful show.
