On August 31, Stellar Diva Bituin Escalante shared her favorite line from her upcoming Christmas song.
At a media gathering, which LionhearTV covered, Escalante beautifully sang a line from her upcoming Christmas song.
She discussed the somber theme of her holiday song, noting her plan to release it during the ‘Ber-months.’
“And now Ber-Months na, I’m so excited kasi I’m releasing a Christmas song na magpapaiyak muli sa inyo. No, I’m sure na a lot of people here, nangungulila kapag Pasko and ‘yun may bago nanamang paraan para ikwento ‘yung ganong experience. So yes I’m releasing a Christmas song.”
Escalante revealed that her Christmas song is a part of her upcoming concept album.
“That’s actually part of an entire concept album na unti-unti kong ilalabas. So you’ll be a part of that, every step of the way, kapag may lumabas kaming bagong awitin, nandiyan kayo, promise.”
She also noted that her Christmas single would have accompanying songs perfect for the ‘Ber-months.’
“It’s an album, but for this period, single-single muna, kasi mayroon din siyang accompaniment na tungkol sa kung ano ang masarap kainin kapag malamig ang panahon, because if there’s something I know it’s food. Lugaw, tsokolate at suman.”
Aside from her upcoming Christmas song, she has planned performances and concerts in the pipeline.
“Meron, kapag nag ano (na-plantsa) na, kayo una. Tomorrow I’m guesting Odette Quesada’s concert, and then I’m doing the FIBA Gala Fundraiser, and then lilipad ako for a concert abroad. So may mga ganon.”
Escalante joined the roster of Hurados on the noontime show’s singing competition ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’ on July 6.
Aside from her Hurado stint in TNT, she was also part of the Cinemalaya 2023 film ‘Duyan Ng Magiting,’ which won the Best Ensemble Performance Award.
