The superstar TV host and comedian did not hold back from calling out concert producers, who apparently have not settled their obligations with his friends, MC Muah Calaquian and Lassy Marquez.
The Unkabogable Phenomenal Box Office Superstar, Vice Ganda, found an opportunity to get the attention of the producers for the Qatar shows of his friend, Lassy and MC, who are both co-hosts of It’s Showtime. During the Isip Bata segment of the hit noon time show, yesterday, September 2, Vice commended comedians, Negi and Petite for performing very well, as guest co-hosts.
“I-regular na rin yan! Kasi baka hindi na makabalik si MC at Lassy, nasa Qatar, na-cancel ang show hindi pa nabayaran”, Vice said, segueing into calling out the producers. Fellow main hosts, Jhong Hilario and Amy Perez, immediately expressed shock upon hearing the news, which Vice playfully delivered.
“Nananawagan po kami sa producers ng mga kaibigan namin, pakibayaran naman po para makauwi na. Kawawa naman ‘yung dalawa, “ he added.
“Namamalimos muna. Umiiyak kagabi , tumawag. Na-cancel ‘yung dalawang shows tapos hind pa raw sila nabayaran. Hay, mga producers. Kaloka, “ he shared, responding to Hilario who previously asked the current situation of the comedic duo.
Being a producer and a talent manager, himself, Vice Ganda seems to relate very well with the situation of his friends, whom he has been helping to thrive in the business. It was not at all surprising that he was the one to call out the said producers. MC Calaquian and Lassy Marquez began with their It’s Showtime hosting stints, a few months ago.
