Controversial social media personality Rendon Labador spoke to Ogie Diaz on his vlog.
During the interview, Rendon explained his motivations behind criticizing celebrities and stated that it was for the betterment of the Philippines.
Rendon also issued an apology to personalities he had criticized, including Michael V. and Vice Ganda, emphasizing that he had no ill intentions toward them.
“I’m apologizing,” Rendon said. “I’m trying to be perfect. Ngayon naman nakikinig na ako. Marami akong opportunities. Marami naman akong nasaktan din naman talaga. Iyon din naman yung regret ko talaga. I’m trying to be better.”
“So kung nasaktan ko man kayo, kay Vice, Ion, lahat ng artista, Michael V. I’m apologizing. Wala akong masamang intensyon sa inyo, Hindi ko kayo dini-discredit. I’m thankful sa mga nagawa ninyo. Ang gusto ko lang matulungan, magising. Sana makasama ko kayo sa pagbago ng Pilipinas,” he added.
It’s worth noting that Rendon had responded to Michael V.’s comments about the content of some social media influencers.
Finally, Rendon was among those who raised concerns with the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) regarding the alleged “indecent act” by Vice Ganda and Ion Perez in the ‘Isip Bata’ segment of ‘It’s Showtime.’
