On September 15, Mega Star Sharon Cuneta affirmed that she is ready for a ‘kissing scene’ in her upcoming concert with Gabby Concepcion.
During the media conference for the upcoming reunion concert ‘Dear Heart’ at Okada Manila, which LionhearTV covered, Cuneta clarified she would not initiate the ‘kissing scene’ between her and Concepcion.
“Aba’y kung magkakaroon hindi sa akin magsisimula, babae ako, sorry. Pero, kung magkakaroon, I will take it as a movie scene. Trabaho lang walang personalan. Mag-ingat siya, made-develop siya.”
She also remarked that she would always respect the good times they shared.
“I’m thankful that he’s the father of my eldest daughter. I would always respect the good times that we shared. And I will always remember him fondly.”
She also recalled revisiting their movie ‘Dear Heart,’ which reminded her of the boy she fell in love with in the ’80s.
“So, one day, I watched Dear Heart on YouTube. I wanted to see the purity, innocence, [you know] where we started. And I said, ‘Oh my God, that is the boy fell in love with.’ That version– that moment in time, what Gabby was, what he was during those times.”
As for their reunion concert, Cuneta highlighted her reaction to seeing Concepcion again for the first time.
“Wala lang, kasi we’re [going to] do a show, eh? Matagal na akong prepared. I was [very] glad to see him. He’s still good-looking–he doesn’t look his age, neither do I. Apparently, our daughter has good genes.”
As for their upcoming music event, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion reunite for their concert, ‘Dear Heart,’ on October 27 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. They would also have a special VIP night at the Okada Grand Ballroom on October 30. The concert will also have a second leg going to Cebu on November 17.
