On October 23, actress Dimples Romana gave an update about Angel Locsin’s happily married life.
At the media launch of her skincare line ‘Dreamcake,’ which LionhearTV covered, Romana clarified that she and Locsin have constantly been in touch despite the recently married Kapamilya star’s hiatus from showbiz.
“Si Gel, alam mo, porket hindi niyo sila nakikita online she is missing, especially in my life she’s ever present. I don’t– in fact kapag tinatanong niyo nga lang ako, doon ko lang naiisip na ay oo nga pala, hindi siya nagpapakita sa lahat.
“Pero kasi, I am happily–fortunately–able to see her. I have to visit her kasi she’s at home. But I will tell you, she’s [very] happy, she’s very light, [she’s] so giddy when I talk to her, she’s so [happy]–love this side of her.”
She then highlighted how Locsin was enjoying her married life.
“So if you miss her, please know that she’s doing very well, and she’s happily living her married life with Neil, and nakakatawa kasi pagdating ko pa sa bahay nila, si Gel talaga, kasi kilala niyo siya, kapag nagbabanyo siya ang tagal.
“Tsaka matagal talaga siya as in hours siya nandodoon, naliligo, so kami muna ni Neil ang nagbonding, hanggang sa kailangan ko na umalis, so sabi ko sa kaniya, ‘Mars ano, lalabas ka ba or aalis na ko?’ ‘Hindi-hindi lalabas na ko.’ Akal ko kasi mag-usap lang kami sa pinto.”
She was also glad that Locsin got to detach herself from social media.
“I’m always so happy to see her–isn’t that a dream of ours–to stop with social media, live a life that’s simple, comfortable, and happy, free of– kumbaga somewhat detached muna from the world. Minsan kasi– the way we consume our social media also–gets to us. Kaya nga minsan nagkakaroon tayo ng anxiety because we consume so much and we are unable to control ourselves.

“And I’m so happy that Gel came to a point, of course, with the help of Neil, to detach for a little bit. It’s done her very, very well.”
Romana also remarked how Locsin appreciates the fans who were looking for her.
“She’s very much aware, and she’s very much happy that you’re all looking for her. It’s touching her heart.”
As for her skincare line, Romana, as a co-founder, takes a dreamy leap toward beauty innovation with her dream project, Dreamcake.
The product launch also had the Dreamcake team headed by Chief Operating Officer Maebelle Sacdalan and Creative Director Gian Gonzales.
Made in Korea, the skincare product line makes a mark in the Philippine beauty industry and features multi-purpose skin care at an affordable cost.
