Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu has dismissed recent rumors suggesting that she and her long-time boyfriend, actor Xian Lim, have called it quits.
Chiu addressed the speculations about her relationship with Lim during a media conference for her current series ‘Linlang.’ When questioned by entertainment journalists, she expressed her amazement at the breakup reports and assured reporters, “Grabe! Kayo talaga, baka nalilinlang lang kayo.”
The rumors sparked from Chiu’s recent solo trip, which led some to speculate about the status of her relationship with Lim. However, when asked about the strength of their relationship, Chiu confidently replied, “Okay naman po kami ni Xi.”
She acknowledged that the showbiz industry can be misleading, but emphasized that their relationship remains strong, and they are happy together.
This is not the first time that Chiu and Lim have faced such rumors. The couple has been together since 2012, although it wasn’t until 2018 that Chiu publicly confirmed their relationship.
At present, Chiu is enjoying the success of her series ‘Linlang,’ in which she stars alongside Paulo Avelino, JM de Guzman, and Maricel Soriano. The show, produced by ABS-CBN and Dreamscape, is exclusively available for streaming on Prime Video, with new episodes released every Thursday.
