On November 18, actor Matteo Guidicelli addressed the possibility of Sarah Geronimo working on GMA Network projects.
At the media event for the Kapuso Mall Shows in Cebu for the Lapu-Lapu City Festival, which LionhearTV covered, Guidicelli remarked that his wife’s appearance in Kapuso projects would still depend on their bosses.
“Hopefully, hopefully, it depends on the bosses.”
He also highlighted the current trend in the entertainment industry, wherein artists from different management arms could work in various networks, virtually eliminating the ‘network wars.’
“No, but one thing that makes it very, very [nice] in this “network wars” are [kind of–] people are crossing over and doing things together. Kasi, at the end of the day, we represent Filipino material, Filipino culture, Filipino artists, and Filipino content, so this is what we [have to] be proud of, di ba? Mga Koreano, gusto natin sila– we have to push our selves.”
He also appreciated GMA Network’s positive work environment, noting his excitement in being part of the Kapuso action series.
“Every home has it’s own different style ba. And the one thing that always puts a smile on my face all the time, when I do a GMA project is everybody’s so nice. As in, buong tantanan, grabe. ‘Yung mga tao talaga sa GMA, buo, very supportive, kapag may problema as in ayos ba.
“But again, every family has it’s own pros and cons and ways to improve, and I’m [very] happy to be part of this family, and I’m excited to grow with them and to experience this journey together. I’m blessed to be part [here in] this project.”
