On December 16, Philippine Jukebox Queen Imelda Papin discussed what the lines from the movie ‘Loyalista: The Untold Story of Imelda Papin’ meant.

At the block screening of ‘Loyalista: The Untold Story of Imelda Papin,’ which LionhearTV covered, Papin addressed questions about the movie’s title and how it depicted her story.

Papin responded, “Anong meaning ng sa likod? Hindi ko pa alam kung ano ang binigay sa akin ng Presidente. Malalaman ninyo siguro. Hindi pa tapos.”

She also highlighted the clamor for their film’s block screenings, which resulted in them showcasing their movie on Resorts World Manila.

“During our premiere, super successful. So maraming maraming salamat, that is why we’re holding this block screening today, dito po sa Resorts World, December 16, dahil po sa dami po ng request na gusto po nilang mapanood dahil hindi po namin ma-accommodate ‘yung mga taong nag-request na mapanood siya.”

She revealed that their film would also have international screenings in 2024.

“So next time na makikita niya po ito, aside from the screening in the Philippines and other countries, ay sa movie houses din po. So suportahan ninyo po ang Loyalista: The Untold Story of Imelda Papin. Napakaganda po nito. Inspirational, educational, it’s all about love for your God, family, and friends. ‘Yung kaibigan na napunta sa hindi masyadong maayos na lugar. Pero naroon ka para damayan sila. And siyempre pagmamahal po sa bayan.”

As for ‘Loyalista: The Untold Story of Imelda Papin,’ the film stars Claudine Barreto, Jeorge ‘ER’ Ejercito Estregan, Alice Dixon, and Gary Estrada.

The film also features Angelica Jones, Maffi Papin Carrion, Aileen Papin, Blumark Roces, Zac Papin, Kanisha Santos, Amay Bisaya, Marcos Mamay, Julian Roxas, Allysa Dela Peña, Ruby Flores, Pantene Palanca, and Angelo Santiago.

Under the direction of Gabby Ramos, ‘Loyalista: The Untold Story of Imelda Papin’ opened in cinemas on November 29 and had block screenings at the Resorts World Manila on December 16, 2023.
