Miles Ocampo recently addressed questions about her well-being in the wake of her breakup with Elijah Canlas.
The actress, who attended the grand media conference at the Novotel Hotel in Quezon City on December 3 of ‘Family of Two’ during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), opened up about her current state.
Responding to queries about her feelings post-breakup, Ocampo expressed positivity, stating, “I’m good. I’m happy na andito po ako, kasama kayong lahat.”
This marks the first time she faced the press since Canlas confirmed their separation.
During the press conference, Miles Ocampo willingly responded to inquiries about the breakup, shedding light on how her parents have been a source of support during challenging times.
She acknowledged the unspoken connection with parents, emphasizing the ability of parents to sense their children’s emotions even without explicit communication.
“I am grateful sa mommy ko, sa parents ko, actually. Kahit wala kayong conversation, mararamdaman mo, bigla na lang magte-text ang mama na, ‘Kamusta ka? Kamusta ka today?'” she shared.
In a subsequent interview with ABS-CBN News, Ocampo avoided delving into the specifics of her breakup but reassured that she is doing well. When questioned about her personal promises after the previous relationship, the actress asserted, “I will love myself more this time.”
In a lighthearted response to queries about her single status, Ocampo humorously remarked, “It’s a tie!”
She joined Alden Richards and Sharon Cuneta in the MMFF 2023 movie entry ‘Family Of Two,’ portraying Alden’s girlfriend in the film.
