In the wake of the news of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s breakup, Melai Cantiveros has admitted to feeling disheartened and has decided to temporarily put her work on hold.
Melai expressed her sentiments in response to an Instagram post by Jolina Magdangal. The post featured several photos of the two artists.
Jolina asked, “Kung KathNiel ka.. kamusta ka?”
Melai responded, “Itu parang di makagalaw , parang ayaw magwork pwede ba irason yun momshiejols wag na muna magwork kasi broken hearted sa kathniel?”

In another Instagram Story, Melai Cantiveros openly shared her feelings of being hurt by the breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
In her Instagram story, she conveyed a message after the news of the couple’s separation became public.
“My KathNiel will not signing off but will signing rest and need to cry and pray for them.”
Melai also urged everyone to pray for the two celebrities following the announcement of their breakup.
“Kasi kung nasasaktan tayo, mas sila. Kaya ipagdasal natin sila, Please let’s pray for them.”
KathNiel announced their split through an Instagram post.
