The new record obliterates the identical previous records posted by Dirty Linen on August 8, 2023, The Broken Marriage Vow on June 3, 2022, and Init Sa Magdamag on July 15, 2021.
Ahead of its highly-anticipated finale episode this Friday, January 19, Kapamilya suspense and teen drama, Senior High pulled off a new milestone in the ratings game, posting a remarkable 6.5 people rating on Thursday, January 18. This effectively obliterates the record set by Init Sa Magdamag, The Broken Marriage Vow and Dirty Linen, which all registered a peak people rating of 6.2 on July 15, 2021, June 3, 2022 and August 8, 2023, respectively.
Senior High‘s previous peak of 6.0 people rating was logged last December 21, 2023. Unsurprisingly, this new all time high eclipses the highly-anticipated finale week of the critically-acclaimed series. Produced by Dreamscape Entertainment, many of the actors in the show received high praises for their effective portrayal in the show. The creative team was also lauded for the bold storytelling and writing they delivered.
Topbilled by young Kapamilya actress, Andrea Brillantes, the series also featured an ensemble of talented young actors, including former child wonders, Zaijian Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat.
The Voice Kids alumni, Kyle Echarri and JK Labajo are also part of the cast, both dazzling viewers with their exemplary acting on the show. Considered breakout stars of the show are Miggy Jimenez and Daniela Stranner, who are seemingly introduced in the series for their remarkable acting chops.
