On December 27, actress Vilma Santos shared her Best Actress Award in the Metro Manila Film Festival with her fellow nominees.
At the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal, which LionhearTV covered, Santos remarked how her Best Actress Award was for her friends Sharon Cuneta, Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Eugene Domingo, and Pokwang.
“Shawie, my friend, this is for you. I love you. And to my inaanak, Marian, and Dingdong. I share this award with you. To my friends Uge and Poki, this award is for us.”
She also highlighted how her co-star and their associate director, Christopher De Leon, helped her achieve her performance in their MMFF 2023 movie When I Met You in Tokyo.
And Direk Rommel, Direk Rado, maraming salamat. And of course, to my team and associate director, Mr. Christopher De Leon.
