On February 7, Star Magic artist Anthony Jennings joked that he would’ve been a ‘macho dancer’ if he hadn’t become an actor.
During the media event for Star Magic artists at the Limbaga 77 Cafe in Quezon City, which LionhearTV covered, Jennings surmised what his career would’ve been if he hadn’t entered showbiz.
He first jokingly remarked, “Macho dancer.”
He then noted how he would have been a businessman, citing how he got inspired by his girlfriend’s perfume business.
“Hindi– ako ewan ko ‘tol eh. Hindi ko rin masasabi eh. Pero business siguro, mga ganon. ‘Yung girlfriend ko gumagawa ng pabango. So na-inspire din ako na ako parang nakikita kong business ito. Pabango-pabango. Ginagawa naman namin, kaya lang minsan walang time.
“Pero, siguro kung di ako artista, baka business, and of course mag-aaral ako.”
Aside from his career paths, he noted how his role in Can’t Buy Me Love changed his life.
He expressed gratitude to Star Magic, Star Creatives, Rise Artist Studios, his handlers, and his managers for the opportunities he received.
He discussed how much his life had changed after getting the role of Snoop in the Kapamilya series.

Jennings also enjoyed interacting with his fans more, all thanks to his newfound popularity.
“Ako kasi, ang hilig ko talaga as ako, of course, may mga nagpapa-picture sinabi ko din dati, pero gusto ko talaga nag-i-interact ako sa mga fans. Kinakausap ko sila. Tapos kamusta kana, basta may interaction palagi and parang hindi nawala ‘yun sa akin.
“So, may mga nagbago, pero ako stay pa rin naman.”
