On February 6, artist Issa Pressman shared how she responded to the earlier rumors linking James Reid and Lisa Frankenstein star Liza Soberano.
At the advance screening event for Lisa Frankenstein, which LionhearTV attended, Pressman said she avoided paying attention to online gossip from social media.
“Hindi kasi ako ano eh, ma-online sa chismis and stuff like that. So, narinig ko na lang afterwards na nali-link pala sila before.
“Wala kasi for me naman, sa showbiz naman, nali-link sa everyone. So kapag nare-receive ko na lang I’m like, ‘Ah!’ You’ll never know the truth naman.”
She then noted her views on relationships and breakups.
“I think as long as there is happiness sa relationship and if kapag parang nawawala na ‘yung happiness, it’s just right to adjust. Kasi, ano rin naman ‘yung relationship if it doesn’t do good to you, it doesn’t make you happy.”
She also discussed a more positive view of breakups and moving on from relationships past relationships.
“It’s a choice, and I think everyone should respect that choice, and it’s not a sad thing. It just means na you’re happy moving on different paths, different ways.”
Currently, Pressman is in a relationship with Careless Music CEO and artist James Reid.
As for the movie, Lisa Frankenstein stars Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano, and Carla Gugino.
Under the direction of Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Codi, Lisa Frankenstein opens in Philippine cinemas this February 9.
