Angel Guardian teased viewers on February 5 that they will see a different Angel in two of her upcoming shows.
Guardian, a recently introduced Sparkle 10 member, is co-hosting ‘Running Man Philippines,’ which just finished taping its season 2. She is also a member of the Bianca Umali-led ‘Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.’
In Running Man S2, the Kapuso young actress weathered the winter in South Korea to complete missions. She assures there will be a different Angel Guardian, Mikael Daez, Glaiza de Castro, Ruru Madrid, Buboy Villar, Kokoy de Santos, and Lexi Gonzales.
“This time, different na siya eh. Aside from summer namin ginawa ‘yung first season, and this season, winter na. It’s sobrang—sobra ‘yung winter, as in sobrang lamig. Tsaka nagiging part siya ng missions namin, so mas mahirap. Nag-iba talaga lahat visually.
Siguro, may nag-iba din. I know lahat naman kami ay nag-improve from the season 1. Lahat kami parang nagkaroon ng iba’t-ibang realization, character development. So I think may iba ring makikita ‘yung mga tao this season,” she said in an interview after the launching of Sparkle 10 at GMA Network’s Studio 7.
Guardian is currently preparing for her role as Deia the Brilyante ng Hangin’s keeper in Sang’re, undergoing a series of training. She also receives constant support from the original Amihan, Iza Calzado.
“Si Ms. Iza, she’s always there. If I need something, if I need some advice, she’s always there, and I appreciate that a lot,” shared the Kapuso talent.
“It’s nice lang na every time nagkikita kami and noong last na nagkita kami, she would always remind me na, ‘I’m here.’ Sinasabi niya na andiyan lang siya, and that is enough for me,” she added.
Both Running Man Philippines and Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre will be released this 2024.
