GMA Network’s latest afternoon drama series, ‘Lilet Matias: Attorney-at-Law (LMAAL),’ has made an impressive debut in the ratings arena.

According to the most recent ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, LMAAL has already outperformed the former daytime leader, ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap (AKNP), to secure the top spot in daytime programming during its premiere week.
On Friday, March 8, LMAAL claimed the daytime lead with a rating of 9.2 percent, surpassing AKNP by 1.2 percent, as AKNP recorded a rating of 8.0 percent. While LMAAL secured the fifth position in the overall ratings chart, AKNP dropped to the seventh position on the overall ratings board.
Prior to LMAAL’s ascent to the daytime throne, it exhibited a positive rating trend since its debut on March 4.
On Monday, March 4, LMAAL garnered a rating of 8.4 percent, trailing AKNP by 1.4 percent, which held a rating of 9.8 percent.
On Tuesday, March 5, the Jo Berry-led series experienced a slight dip of 0.3 percent to 8.1 percent. Similarly, AKNP also decreased by 0.2 percent, securing a rating of 9.6 percent.
However, in the middle of the week on Wednesday, March 6, LMAAL made a significant leap, adding 1 percent to reach 9.1 percent, just 0.6 percent below AKNP’s 9.7 percent.
Continuing its positive trend, on Thursday, March 7, Lilet Matias ascended again by 0.5 percent to 9.6 percent, while AKNP maintained a strong position with a rating of 10.7 percent.
The question now is whether ‘Lilet Matias’ can sustain its lead in daytime programming or if AKNP will quickly reclaim its throne.
