The King of Talk, Boy Abunda, revealed some potential guests for his limited series talk show on GMA Network, ‘My Mother, My Story,’ starting with celebrity host Luis Manzano.
During the May 7 press conference at Azadore Tavy’s Bar in Quezon City, Tito Boy shared that the show is dedicated to honoring mothers. It is also his way of paying homage to his departed Nanay Lesing, who passed away three years ago.
After Luis Manzano, Abunda plans to interview Andi Eigenmann, although the details are still being finalized.
“We’re working on Andi Eigenmann. She has agreed to do it, so inaayos na namin ang lahat ng detalye kung kaya naming mag-Siargao, or gagawin namin dito. But we would like to do that story,” said the TV host.
There is also a possibility of actress Julia Montes appearing in future episodes, as well as Jillian Ward.
“Positive din ang response, and we’re working on Jillian Ward. So we’re in the middle of conversations. Anim ‘to eh. A minimum of six, and we do not know where it’s gonna go.”
Tito Boy also expressed his desire to interview his godchild, Bimby Aquino, although he is sensitive to the condition of Bimby’s mother, Kris Aquino.
“I’d love to do Bimby. I love to but I am very sensitive to the condition of Kris. Hindi ko alam but I will be in touch one of these days. Kung mayroon akong finale episode, I’d love to be able to talk with my inaanak.
“I do not know if it is possible, I do not know if it’s workable pero susubukan namin, pakikiramdaman namin. Because I am also very sensitive to the condition of Kris. I haven’t had a conversation with Kris after my interview with her in February,” he explained.
Abunda might also share his own story in one of the episodes. When asked who would interview him, he hoped Jessica Soho could do the honors.
“I would probably ask ang kaibigang Jessica kung pagbibigyan niya ako.”
Each episode will be released every second Sunday of the month at 3:15 p.m. under the direction of Romel Gacho.
