In a heartfelt episode of ‘It’s Showtime’ on Tuesday, Vice Ganda shared his thoughts on the challenges of moving on and the importance of seeking help, especially when overcoming life’s difficulties.
The segment, ‘EXpecially For You,’ featured Marianne as the searcher, joined by her best friend Joan. Marianne revealed that she had been repeatedly deceived by her former partner over 12 years, which deeply affected her personal life.
It took her a long time to overcome the pain and bitterness of her experience.

During the segment, Vice Ganda offered Marianne advice on moving on from her painful past. “Kailangan mo talagang kumapit e, minsan kasi lalo na ang hirap ng pagtayo at pagbangon kasi wala kang makapitan or wala kang gusto makapitan. Kasi nahihiya kang kumapit o nahihiya mong aminin na kailangan mo ng tulong ng ibang tao para kumapit,” Vice said.
He continued, “‘Yung sasabihin mo na ‘hindi darating ang oras na kakayanin ko ito’, o ‘kakaynin ko ‘tong mag-isa’ walang masama sa paghingi ng tulong o paghingi ng saklolo. Kasi mayroon at mayroon namang sasaklolo sa ‘yo e, dahil kahit na ano ka pa, kahit na ano pa ang kulay mo, kahit anong sablay mo sa buhay, kahit na gaano karami ang iyong mali, mayroon at mayroong nagmamahal sa ‘yo. Na magpapakapit para makatayo ka at kailangan mo lang i-acknowledge yun, and at that point, you acknowledge it, you needed help and there are people who helped you.”

Despite everything, Vice Ganda expressed his pride in Marianne for overcoming her painful experiences. “Congratulations, are you proud of yourself?” Vice asked Marianne, who replied, “Yes, I am.”
“I don’t know you, I just met you today, but I am very proud of you,” Vice added.
