QBE Group Chief Executive officer Andrew Horton, together with other members of the QBE Group Executive Committee, Global Shared Services Center (GSSC) senior leaders, and partners, led the ribbon cutting ceremony marking the inauguration of the QBE Green SanQtuary Park at the La Mesa Watershed in Quezon City. Spanning 1,600 sqm, the park will have three greenhouses for native and fruit-bearing seedlings and will serve as a venue for various environment initiatives. It is envisioned to transform into a thriving ecosystem and a nature sanctuary for people to enjoy.
The Green SanQtuary Park is a project of QBE in partnership with the Million Tree Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation and rehabilitation of critical watersheds including La Mesa. QBE is a global insurance firm headquartered in Sydney with global shared services centers operating from Manila and Cebu.
