Gerald Anderson is proving to be a pillar of support for his girlfriend, Julia Barretto, as she stars in her latest film, ‘Un/Happy For You,’ alongside her former on-screen and off-screen partner, Joshua Garcia.
During the premiere night of the film, Gerald spoke with ABS-CBN News’ Ganiel Krishnan, where he expressed his pride and admiration for Julia’s work, making it clear that he is fully behind her latest project.
“I’m here as a silent supporter,” Gerald shared. “Grabe… I’m super… Alam mong pinaghirapan niya ‘yan and I’m just… ganun. It’s been like this na naging okay kami for so many years because sinusuportahan namin ang isa’t isa.”
Gerald emphasized that he doesn’t want to take away any attention from Julia and Joshua, who are at the center of the film’s success. “Nandoon ako sa [ganung] sitwasyon before that’s why I try to be as supportive as possible na hindi nakaka… I don’t wanna steal the spotlight,” he said.
When asked if he plans to watch ‘Un/Happy For You,’ Gerald was quick to confirm, “Oo.”
