On Tuesday, the Kapamilya star shared an Instagram Story showing him watching the new series featuring Alden Richards and Barbie Forteza on his laptop.
He captioned the photo: “I am at episode one and I am loving it. Great work, Pulang Araw Team! Currently No.1 on Netflix Ph.”
This post did not sit well with die-hard fans of ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,’ the hit action series led by Coco Martin. Some netizens questioned JC’s support for the competing series instead of his own network’s show, sparking backlash on social media.
