The public eagerly awaits Sandro Muhlach’s full account of the alleged sexual abuse he endured at the hands of two individuals, which he claims left him traumatized.
The son of actor and businessman Niño Muhlach has stated that he will speak out once GMA Network releases the results of their investigation into his complaint.
Sandro has accused Jojo Tawasil Nones and Richard Dode Cruz, both headwriters at GMA Network, of sexually abusing him in a hotel room. In response, the two writers, through their lawyer Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, have issued a statement denying the allegations and calling for respect for the ongoing investigation.
“Though these allegations do not mirror the true accounts of the event, we would like to reserve the right to respond in a proper forum when we receive a copy of the formal complaint. For the meantime, we urge the public to respect the investigation being conducted on this case and we advise people who have no personal knowledge of the incident to refrain from posting baseless defamatory allegations and therefore unfairly subjecting both parties to publicity trial,” the statement read.
Ogie Diaz, talent manager and online host, has confirmed that Sandro is experiencing severe trauma from the incident. In a recent episode of ‘Showbiz Updates,’ Diaz mentioned that Sandro has been struggling with sleep and has been deeply affected by the events.
“July 21 ito nangyari. Ganu’n pa rin daw ang tulog ni Sandro. Nakakadalawang oras lamang daw itong bata kung makatulog dahil nga laging bumabalik sa alaala niya ‘yong nangyari na hindi niya kinaya,” Diaz said. “Tuwing maliligo raw itong si Sandro, lagi niyang naaalala ‘yung nangyari at parang iniuusal na lang daw nu’ng bata sa sarili ‘yung ‘diring-diri ako sa ginawa sa akin. Ang dumi-dumi ng tingin ko sa sarili.’”
Reports suggest that Nones and Cruz may have misunderstood Sandro’s intentions, allegedly believing he was seeking a transactional relationship, which led to the invitation to their hotel. This was reportedly part of their explanation when confronted by GMA management.
The alleged incident has had significant psychological effects on Sandro, necessitating psychological treatment. The young actor continues to cope with the aftermath of the trauma, while the investigation by GMA Network proceeds.
