TV5 Network has released a statement in response to allegations concerning an incident between one of its employees and an independent contractor.

According to the network, “TV5 management is aware of the matter regarding an alleged incident between a TV5 employee and an independent contractor.

“We have released the necessary Notice To Explain and are conducting an investigation to determine the facts so we may take the appropriate action. We have reached out to the persons concerned and are gathering information. Rest assured that the rights and welfare of all parties shall be protected.

“TV5 remains committed to fostering a safe working environment. We ask everyone to kindly reserve judgment pending our investigation.”

The statement follows a complaint filed earlier today on Raffy Tulfo’s program ‘Wanted sa Radyo’ by a TV5 talent, identified as a program researcher. The complaint, lodged against a manager named Cliff Gingco, alleges that the incident occurred on July 23 at a hotel in Pasig City.
