The actress announced her latest ‘Salsa ni L’ will be her last sexy film, as she will now focus on mainstream projects.
Christine Bermas expressed gratitude to Viva for allowing her make her exit from sexy roles. During the press conference for her new movie, Salsa ni L, last Saturday, September 21, at Wingzone, Cubao, Quezon City, she announced the news, sharing her gratefulness to her bosses at Viva.
“Sobra-sobra yung pasasalamat ko sa Viva, sa management ko, kina boss Vic at sa lahat ng bumubuo sa Viva, kasi kung hindi sa kanila hindi ko alam kung may Christine Bermas ngayon, “ she shared.
For Bermas, her transition to mainstream media has not just been career-defining, but more importantly, life-changing. Noting her change of perspectives in life, she was unable to hold back the tears when she shared her journey as one of Wil to Win‘s hosts.
“…very different ako sa acting. Pero di sa ‘Wil to Win’, mas more on nalalabas ko ang self ko, “ she told the press.
She undescored the great feeling of being able to help many people from different walks of life, noting the connection she has been able to create with each of them.
“…mapasaya sila, makita sila, na alam mo ‘yun, kahit ako may dinadalang parang mas malaki pa ‘yung dinadala nilang problem. Kaya sobrang grateful talaga ako na naging part ako ng ‘Wil to Win’ kasi andami kong natutunan, andami kong nakita, “ she said, adding how happy she is for extending any form of help to the shows’ viewers.
“Ganito pala kasaya? Hindi lang ‘yung sarili mo ang dapat mong isipin, but (also) yung ibang tao. Iba ‘yung feeling kapag ibang tao yung nabibigyan mo ng happiness, yung nabibigay mo yung lahat ng tulong sa kanila. Kahit hindi man yan pera, sabihin mo lang.
