Comedian Aiai Delas Alas recently shared a close brush with danger while heading to Baclaran Church.
According to her post on Instagram Reels, Aiai and her friend, Soccy, were walking near the church when a motorcycle nearly hit them.
Aiai, who is used to traffic behavior in the United States, was unaware of the approaching vehicle until her friend quickly pulled her out of harm’s way.
In her humorous retelling of the event, Aiai mentioned how she had gotten used to vehicles stopping for pedestrians in the U.S. “Sanay ako sa Amerika na humihinto sasakyan ‘pag may tumatawid… hinila ako ni Soccy kasi muntik na kong masagasaan ng motor,” she wrote, adding that she couldn’t help but laugh at the incident despite the danger.

Rather than expressing anger or frustration, Aiai chose to find humor in the situation, highlighting her gratitude for her safety. The comedian’s fans expressed relief and well wishes after her post.
Recently, Aiai has been involved in various activities, including helping fellow mom Angelica Yulo sell goods via live selling sessions on Facebook. Despite now residing in the U.S. with her husband, she returned to the Philippines to serve as a judge on GMA Network’s talent show ‘The Clash.’
