Broadcast journalist and documentarist Atom Araullo has confirmed he’s in a “great relationship” with his special someone, despite the media spotlight that often surrounds him.
Rumored to be dating fellow journalist Zen Hernandez, Atom addressed his love life for the first time in an interview with ABS-CBN news anchor KC Constantino on her YouTube show ‘KC After Hours.’
Though Atom and Zen have not officially confirmed their relationship, the two have been seen together at events, including a Hong Kong vacation in October 2023 with friends and the 2024 Paris Olympics. They were also recently spotted watching Miss Saigon in Parañaque City.
When asked by KC what he admires about his partner, Atom emphasized her independence and passion. “I like that she has her own dreams, her own life, career, and priorities,” he said. “I feel like the reason why we work is because we support each other, and we let each other grow. And it’s nice to have someone who understands my work.”
Atom noted that both he and his partner are fully aware of the pressures in their profession, from long hours to public scrutiny. “It can be difficult—the time, the stress, and even the gossip. Nagkakaintindihan kami sa tsismis,” he said, alluding to how they support each other through the noise.
Though Atom kept details private, his words hint at a strong, supportive partnership, which he described as a “great relationship.” Fans eagerly await whether he and Zen will confirm their relationship publicly, but for now, Atom appears to be relishing this new chapter of his personal life.
