Kapamilya star Jolina Magdangal has confirmed that a reunion movie with her former love team partner, Marvin Agustin, is currently in development.
The duo recently met with the creative team at Project 8, led by acclaimed directors Dan Villegas and Antoinette Jadaone, to discuss the upcoming project.
Magdangal shared the exciting news during the Kapamilya Karavan event in Bacolod City last weekend, revealing to ABS-CBN News that this long-awaited collaboration could be the comeback project their fans have been hoping for.
“Pero sana ito na. Ang hirap din magbitaw ng kung anuman. Ang nangyayari ngayon kasi kahit kami kinakapa din namin,” Magdangal said, referring to the progress of the project.
While details about the film’s storyline are still under wraps, Magdangal emphasized how important this project is to both her and Agustin. “Sa amin ni Marvin, dream project namin ito … ‘yung dream project mo, pababayaan mo ba? Tinitignan maigi, sinusuri ng isa’t isa,” she added.
The actress remained hopeful but cautious, sharing that she and Agustin are praying for the project to push through. “Always ako praying na ito na ito. Kung ibigay, I guess ito na talaga. Hoping kami talaga, nag-uusap kami lagi ni Marvin, sana ito na talaga,” she expressed.
Currently, Magdangal is part of the hit primetime series ‘Lavender Fields,’ while Agustin has been busy with various business ventures. The two last appeared together in the teleserye ‘FlordeLiza’ in 2015.
