Kapuso actor Buboy Villar recently shared his frustration over a past project with an actor he described as unprofessional and disrespectful, revealing he has no interest in working with them again.
In his appearance on GTV’s new cooking show ‘Lutong Bahay,’ hosted by Mikee Quintos, Buboy opened up about the challenges he faced while working alongside a celebrity who, he claimed, had little respect for fellow cast members, especially the production crew. According to Buboy, this actor’s attitude caused significant delays, disrupting the entire set’s workflow.
When asked by Mikee to name someone he wouldn’t want to work with again, Buboy hesitated but laughed off the request, saying he would prefer to keep the name private. “Dapat walang makakaalam,” he joked. “First time ko lang kasi makatrabaho ng ganu’n. Lahat ng mga kasama natin sa isang show ay professional.”
Buboy detailed how the actor’s refusal to do certain scenes led to frequent delays, affecting the entire team. “Ako bilang isang aktor, game ako sa lahat, pero minsan kasi tumatanggi siya sa mga eksena at nadi-delay na ‘yung mga eksena,” he said. “Siyempre, kapag mayroong isang delay, domino effect ‘yan, buong staff and crew, madi-delay, aabutin tayo ng madaling araw.”
Buboy emphasized his commitment to professionalism, noting that he values respect for the team and a smooth workflow on set. This experience, however, has made him more cautious, and he firmly stated he wouldn’t work with the actor again.
