Actor and musician James Reid is making his highly anticipated return to acting with an upcoming project under ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment.
The announcement was made on Monday through a social media post by Dreamscape, featuring photos of Reid with top executives of the entertainment unit. ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes was also present during the meeting.
“Something to look forward to this 2025!” read the post, teasing fans about the mysterious new project. Specific details, including the title and cast, have yet to be revealed.

This project marks Reid’s first major acting role in years. He is best remembered for his breakout role in the 2015 romantic series ‘On the Wings of Love,’ where he starred opposite Nadine Lustre.
In a recent interview, Reid shared his enthusiasm for returning to the craft that launched his career. “I just want to act again. It’s where I started, actually. And it’s something I’ve always wanted to do again. I’m excited for the projects that I have coming up,” he said.
Reid also expressed interest in joining the cast of the hit primetime series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ if the opportunity arises.
Reid’s return to ABS-CBN has been warmly welcomed by fans. In October, he made a triumphant comeback to the ‘ASAP Natin ‘To’ stage, delighting audiences with his performances.
