This innovative ID card functions as both official identification and a cashless payment option, integrating effectively with the beep™ ecosystem, which is widely utilized across public transport and retail sectors nationwide.

Gavan. “This most recent development, the deployment of beep™-enabled ID card brings the Philippine Coast Guard another step closer to being fully digitally visible,” said Admiral Gavan. “This development is part of the Philippine Coast Guard’s continuing effort to modernize and we would like to take advantage of the technologies that come by.”
