Weekend noontime rating battle, who reigns supreme between ‘It’s Showtime’ and ‘EAT…Bulaga’, ‘AOS’ vs ‘ASAP’?

Weekend noontime remains a hotly contested battleground as four of the longest-running shows vie for supremacy in the ratings war.

According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, It’s Showtime continues to lead on Saturdays, posting a significant margin over EAT…Bulaga. Meanwhile, Sunday’s noontime race has tightened, with All Out Sundays (AOS) narrowly ahead of ASAP.

On Saturday, November 23, It’s Showtime secured third place on the overall ratings chart with a 9.0 percent rating. EAT…Bulaga, in comparison, lagged behind with 3.7 percent, placing 12th. Leading Saturday’s ratings was The Clash 2024 with a strong 12.0 percent, followed by Pepito Manaloto at 9.8 percent.

Sunday, November 24, saw AOS maintain its noontime lead with a 3.4 percent rating. However, ASAP was close on its heels, earning a 2.9 percent rating—just a 0.5 percent difference. Notably, ASAP had already managed to edge out AOS earlier this month, recording a 4.0 percent rating on November 3, compared to AOS’s 3.2 percent. This marked a significant milestone for ASAP, its first win against AOS since the pandemic and the ABS-CBN network shutdown.

Will It’s Showtime sustain its dominance over EAT…Bulaga? And can ASAP continue to close the gap or even surpass AOS? Stay tuned to see how the ratings battle unfolds.
