Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera commemorated a milestone in their marriage with a heartfelt vow renewal ceremony at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral of Cubao in Quezon City, the same venue where they exchanged their original vows a decade ago.
The intimate celebration, held on December 30, 2024, was attended by close family members, including their children, Zia and Sixto. The event was kept private and low-key, with the couple focusing on their family-centered celebration of love.
Rivera wore a white, body-hugging midi dress adorned with floral appliques, paired with white heels, and carried a bouquet of white flowers. She walked down the aisle with their children, appearing emotional and radiant as she approached Dantes. The ceremony concluded with a tender kiss, reaffirming their commitment to one another.
On Instagram, Dantes shared moments from the special day, including a photo of the cathedral, a snapshot of himself with Rivera and their children, and a nostalgic post recalling their 2014 prenup shoot in Dubai. “Just hanging out in the Dubai desert some 10 years ago,” the actor captioned a throwback image of their prenup photoshoot.
Rivera also posted about the celebration, sharing her gratitude and joy. “Walking down the aisle with our kids today, celebrating 10 beautiful years together. Love, God, and family forever! I will always cherish our journey with God, and our beautiful children, Zia and Sixto. Salamat sa pagtupad sa pangarap ko, ang magkaroon ng Pamilya (Thank you for making my dreams of having a family come true),” she wrote.
The couple, popularly known as DongYan, first tied the knot in December 2014 in a star-studded wedding that began at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral and featured a grand reception at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
Over the years, they have welcomed two children: Maria Letizia (Zia) in December 2015 and Jose Sixto IV (Sixto) in 2019.
Dantes and Rivera, who rose to fame as one of Philippine showbiz’s most celebrated pairs, have starred together in hit projects such as ‘Marimar’, ‘Dyesebel’, and ‘Rewind’.
